We are the David F. Schrage Chapter of National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), a nationally-recognized honors organization. NRHH’s foundations are based on excellence, service, and recognition. We host meetings every other week, semesterly RA recognition weeks, and monthly service projects across the OU community. We believe in giving back to our community, while also creating a fun and inclusive environment where our members can make connections with each other.

***

NRHH also promotes recognition through writing "Of The Month (OTM) Awards". This campus-wide initiative involves writing short nominations about impactful people and events on campus, with the possibility of gaining regional or national recognition. We teach you how to write your own "OTMs" at our fun OTM Workshop Waffle Bars.

***

Meetings are held every other week, with events and volunteer opportunities throughout the year! No membership fees/dues, the only requirements to join are having at least a 2.5GPA and you must have lived or currently be living on campus.

***

If you like hanging out with us, please also check out our sister organization, the Housing Center Student Association for social and advocacy opportunities. Want more involvement? Check out your hall's Community Council to start creating your leadership experience today!

Global Scholars Collective is a student-led organization dedicated to fostering academic growth through a collaborative, peer-supported environment. By connecting students across disciplines, we aim to make each individual’s path to academic success more accessible and manageable.

We emphasize the importance of a growth mindset, recognizing that challenges—such as a difficult semester—do not define one’s potential, but instead create opportunities for learning and improvement. Through guest speakers who share their academic journeys, we offer insight, motivation, and practical strategies for success.

Our community encourages students to apply their strengths and experiences to support others, building a network rooted in collaboration, personal development, and mutual empowerment.
