Alpha Gamma Delta is a women's fraternity meant to build sisterhood, encourage better scholarship, promote volunteering, and build lasting friendships. Guided by our Purpose, Alpha Gamma Deltas strive to attain a higher standard, thereby improving their lives, the lives of those around them, and the communities in which they live. Together, we continually work to inspire the women and impact the world. Over the past year, we have raised over $35,000 towards Meals on Wheels and Feeding America allowing us to directly impact our community.

Alpha Omicron Pi was founded in 1897 on the values of character, dignity, scholarship and college loyalty. The Xi Chapter of AOII was originally chartered at the University of Oklahoma in 1924 and was re-established in 2002. OU AOII supports the Arthritis Foundation and the local Monroe Elementary School. AOII encourages members to "Inspire Ambition," while fostering friendships through kindness and hospitality.

Since the establishment in 1888, Delta Delta Delta has been an organization built upon friendship, strengthening womanly character, broadening intellectual life, and developing skills of unselfish leadership. In 1910, the Theta Gamma chapter was established at the University of Oklahoma. In the last 115 years, our members have lived out the purpose of Tri Delta through their academic success, dedication to serving others, and campus involvement.

Through our partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which began in 1999, The Theta Gamma Chapter has proudly raised over $1 million, with continued dedication and efforts. Our chapter is defined by a longstanding commitment to service, demonstrated through consistent volunteerism at both the individual and chapter wide levels. We maintain a consistent record of academic excellence and prestigious leadership displayed across many areas of campus. We also place great value on the continued development of alumni relationships and enthusiastic engagement with diverse communities.

In 1915, thirteen women formed a local sorority that they named Phi Chi. By November 1916, these women petitioned Delta Gamma for a charter. The Alpha Iota chapter of Delta Gamma was then installed on June 3rd and 4th, 1918, becoming the sixth sorority on the University of Oklahoma campus. Since Alpha Iota’s installation, we have continued to serve our university, community and Foundation. Delta Sigma Theta was founded on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two collegiate women at Howard University in Washington D.C. These students wanted to use their collective strength to promote academic excellence and to provide assistance to persons in need. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. The major programs of the sorority are based upon the organization's Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, Political Awareness and Involvement.

The Kappa Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered on April 15, 1973 on the campus of the University of Oklahoma. Prompted by the need of leadership and excellence, nine dedicated women sought to uphold the vision of the original twenty-two. They understood they were of the elite and that the concerns of the community were theirs to shoulder. Thus began another great chapter, Kappa Alpha, in the history of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated!

Delta Tau Delta was founded nationally in 1856 at Bethany College. Locally, the Delta Alpha Chapter has been on the University of Oklahoma Campus since 1922. Delts are men of excellence who live by the four pillars of Truth, Courage, Faith, and Power. In addition, we support Breakthrough T1D (formerly known as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), which raises money and supports children with Type 1 Diabetes.

Delta Upsilon is built upon the 4 founding principles which are: The Advancement of Justice, The Promotion of Friendship, The Advancement of Justice, and the Diffusion of Liberal Culture. Iota Gamma (formerly the Society of Native American Gentlemen) is a Native American fraternity that was founded at the University of Oklahoma on October 22, 2004. The founding motives behind the fraternity was to ensure that a support system was put in place to help Native American men graduate with their respected degrees. Our Founders created a foundation of standards for American Indian men to achieve success. Through our Four Pillars: Academic Excellence, Spiritual Well-Being, Cultural Awareness and Physical Fitness, Iota Gamma has continued to provide that support system for men.

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. was founded January 5th, 1911 on the campus of Indiana University, by 10 prestigious men who risked it all to provide a brotherhood and a bond amongst members that would last a lifetime. Kappa Alpha Psi is the 2nd oldest existing Collegiate Historically Black Greek Letter Fraternity and the 1st intercollegiate fraternity incorporated as a national body. The Zeta Omega Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity was charted at The University of Oklahoma in April of 1973. The organization prioritizes service, community involvement, scholarship, and career preparation. The chapter is committed to excellence in all that they do, inspired by their motto; Achievement in every field of human endeavor. Kappa Alpha Psi has a predominantly African-American membership but has never limited membership based on color, creed, or national origin. The Constitution of Kappa Alpha Psi is predicated upon, and dedicated to, the principles of achievement through a truly democratic Fraternity.

The Alpha Omicron chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta was founded on the University of Oklahoma's campus over 100 years ago in 1909. We exist to offer an encouraging and nurturing environment that provides women the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential during their undergraduate years at the University of Oklahoma. We are a chapter full of genuine, driven, and compassionate women aiming to achieve our highest aspirations and impact people's lives through a commitment to the "widest influence for good," "attainment of the highest scholarship," and a "moral code of love." Bettie Locke was among the first women to enroll at Indiana Asbury in 1867. During her sophomore year, a member of one of the Greek-letter fraternities asked Bettie to wear their badge. When she learned, however, she would not become a member—simply a welcomed supporter of the group—she declined the opportunity. Desiring full membership in an organization offering friendship and support, Bettie hoped a Greek-letter fraternity for women might form a chapter at Asbury. However, she couldn't identify such an organization existing on any other campus. With her father's encouragement, Bettie decided to create one. From the beginning, it was her desire the organization would continue to grow, supporting coeds on multiple campuses into the future. She asked fellow student Alice Allen to work with her to make the dream come true. Their tasks included designing a badge, developing a constitution and bylaws, and identifying potential members—women of outstanding character determined to excel academically. The following autumn, Hannah Fitch and Bettie Tipton were invited to join them. Now, four in number, the women carefully completed their plans. On January 27, 1870, the first official meeting of Kappa Alpha Theta was held. And so, the first Greek-letter fraternity for women was formally established. Meeting a need, the Fraternity grew exponentially—spreading East and West, from North to South, and becoming the first fraternity for women to establish a chapter in Canada. It was an idea whose time had come.

Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. is a sisterhood based on service to the community. Since our founding in 1987 at Texas Tech University, this sisterhood has been nationally recognized as an organization that upholds the values of Unity, Honesty, Integrity and Leadership. More than anything, the sisterhood prioritizes academics, service, and supportive relations among members. The Sigma Chapter of Kappa Delta Chi is the first Latina-founded sorority at the University of Oklahoma and in the entire state of Oklahoma. Although we are a Latina-founded sorority, we have a diverse sisterhood and welcome all women with varied backgrounds, ethnicities, and identities. Our organization is made up of an extremely diverse group of women, each with her own unique story. As sisters, we are eager to make a lasting impact on our campus and within our community.
