About Us
SEDS is an interdisciplinary organization involved in encouraging innovation and advancement in space exploration through hands-on projects, advocacy, and open discussion here at OU. SEDS OU is leading the innovation and advancement of space exploration at the University of Oklahoma through engaging OU community members passionate about space!
SEDS offers presentations by space industry leaders, tech talks with aerospace professionals, internship/career and professional development events, social events, and several technical projects to help students further develop their engineering design skills. Previous guest speakers have included experts from NASA, the Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority, and more.
Our events, tech talks, and project teams are open to all! Members are always encouraged to approach SEDS OU with any other projects they believe will help drive innovation and advancement in space exploration at OU! We are very open to ideas and exploring additional fields in space.
Exploring space is an interdisciplinary endeavor, and SEDS reflects that! We are open to students of all majors and recognize that everyone has something to contribute to space.
